Finally after being on Vancouver Island for the whole summer our journey begins! Here we are on the Coastal Inspiration Ferry heading from Duke Point to Tsawwassen. Hanging out with the truckers.
Such a beautiful day to start off our trip. We saw some orcas on route but didn’t capture them on camera unfortunately. Maddie looking back at Vancouver Island. See you in the Spring!
The ferry plus the border crossing made for a very long day. We were interrogated for an hour about our lack of employment and crossing the border with all our belongings. Anyhow, we made it through.
Entering Seattle on a hazy day.
Safeco field on the left where the Seattle Mariners play their home games and CenturyLink on the right where the Seattle Seahawks play.
We took the Boeing Factory tour but they didn’t allow cameras. Very cool seeing 747, 777 and 787 jets being assembled. Absolutely massive building. They have the world record for largest building by volume and longest mural. Its footprint covers 98.3 acres.

Paine Field. 777 hot off the press.

Seahawks painted 747 jet on the far left. 12th man on the tail.
