The Canucks were playing the Ducks on Bob’s birthday, so we decided to make the trip back to LA for the game.
We first did an educational excursion to the California Science Center. If ever in LA, it is worth the trip. Not only was it the best science centre we have been too, it is free (except for special exhibits and parking).
One of our favourite areas was the ecosystems.
Bob in a simulator…this does not end well.
Everything was interactive and a lot of fun!

This is the actual Endeavour, which was the last shuttle ending the space shuttle program in 2011. At 125 feet long and 2 billion dollars worth of materials, it was quite impressive.
We went on a zero gravity space station simulator. They both look dizzy and a little green…
Space shuttle thruster.
Maddie trying out the space toilet. Quite complex to do your business in zero gravity!
Candidates for the next mission to Mars.
Before we left, one of our favourite shows on TV was Tiny House Nation starring Zack Giffin. This house is 170 square feet…just a bit smaller than our fifth wheel trailer. We love his work!

After the science centre, we made our way to the hockey game. It’s weird seeing a hockey arena with palm trees out front.

A sneak peek into the Canucks dressing room.
Next up…San Diego

Happy (belated) birthday, Bob!
Happy Birthday to you Bob! What an awesome birthday to see a game in person, in another country, supporting your team! 🙂 Were there many Canuck fans at the game? (How cool to see the Endevour!) Nicole
Hi we are finally checking out your blogs! That looks great….Where did you stay when you were here? We are still in Vegas! AnnaSarina, Linda and Keaton
Hi, we stayed at Wilderness Lakes RV Resort (thousand trails) and loved it. It was about an hour drive to Anaheim from the campsite. How did your trip to Malaysia go? Cheers Jill, Bob and Madison
