We are thoroughly enjoying our time here in Puerto Penasco and decided to stay another month.
There are a few people staying here that have dogs. This little guy is Tucker. He is a really quiet, sweet dog but a little shy. His owners are from Edmonton, Alberta.
The owner of the RV resort hosted a party for everyone. Some people have been coming here for many years and we can see why.
We have made a lot of friends here and enjoy their company.
Edgar, the owner, had his favourite food truck provide tacos pastor. It is pork marinated with pineapple then cooked on a spit. Best tacos ever!!
Maddie is enjoying a churro (like a donut) and Bob is drinking a hot traditional Mexican drink. It was all delicious.
Yesterday we went on a hike to La Choya with some friends, Doug and Loretta.
There were lots of interesting rock formations along the trail.

We saw lots of pelicans and cormorants along the coastline.
Walking through La Choya, we saw lots of colourful homes with tonnes of character. Very unique architecture and artwork…what a beautiful town!

This entrance way and the surf board are made out of broken glass.
Funny sign outside of a gringo convenience store.
Maddie and I made some beach glass art in the sand. Lots of fun!
Feliz Navidad! Merry Christmas from Puerto Penasco.
Hi Jill, Bob and Maddie! What interesting places you are seeing! I’m enjoying looking at the unique architecture, all the lovely, natural colors on the buildings. Great that you have met some friendly folks too. Thanks too for the creative Christmas card and a photo of your decorated tree. Hugs, Mom/Oma/Truda
