We spent a day at the zoo… I mean aquarium in Mazatlan. It truly felt like a zoo at times, they even had Canadian deer! Very cool place.

Yes, this is my daughter holding a snake and happy about it. Anyone that knows me, knows that I was freaking out a little at this point.

Really Bob? I am pretty sure we would be going to the hospital if it got a hold of a finger!

I received a kiss as well. It was awesome!
While sitting on the beach near our trailer, we have seen many Manta Rays cruising the waves close to shore. Very graceful and beautiful. There weren’t any Manta Rays at the aquarium but there were many different types of Sting Rays.
This is an Eagle Ray.

Can anyone spare a pair of sunglasses?
Even the crane in the background had a routine.

Sitting in the soak zone and they came prepared with swimsuits.
After the show, the sea lion lazed about, rubbing his head on the concrete like a cat.

Sedona and Maddie posing with Jaws.

The birds are all so beautiful with such vibrant colours. Bob took some great photos.

This guy chased me around the building and finally bit me in the calf. Not a huge fan of ducks or turkeys, unless they are on the dinner table!
I managed to get a picture of this Barn Owl when it was right in front of me.
The kids loved this part of the show. One bird would pull another in a little car.

Hayden was thrilled to see all the different talking birds, sea creatures and animal pictures! We loved the Seal kiss picture! Hayden writes ” i lovd ta birds ;D lol !!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks sooo much!” ..and ‘Goosed’ by a Goose?! hahaha…They do nip. Also considered ‘Guardians on the farm’ much like Donkeys. I’d be more reluctant if there was a Rooster around..a miniature holy terror with 8 razor blades just waiting to git you…def a dinner table candidate! So where are you off to next?? 🙂
Bob, the bird pictures are awesome! And the manta ray too. Well, a lot of great photos. Seal kissing Maddie…did it feel weird? Mom/Truda/Oma
It’s just a great place. Our kids loved the sealions:-)
