We are so glad we were in Mazatlan for bike week (March 30 – April 3)…what an awesome experience. We took a red truck (Mexican taxi) with our friends down to the Malecon. All photos are courtesy of Katrina as I forgot to grab our camera. Thank you Katrina!

After we checked out a few vendors and ate lunch we headed out to go watch the parade.
There were lots of interesting masks/characters in the parade.

Wee quad for a big man!
There were many families participating in the parade.
Coffin bike! Only in the Mexico.
The people are very resourceful and recycle parts to create their own vehicles. There a lot of similar vehicles around Mexico used to transport or sell goods.
Love the masks!

These guys were having a great time playing music, dancing and posing for pictures. Loved the big hair wigs father and son wore!
This car had hydraulics and put on quite a show bouncing down the road.
The streets were closed off for the parade. There were thousands of bikes, cars, quads and people.

Some people were doing stunts up and down the boulevard. Awesome.
Another beautiful sunset in Mazatlan. Love this place!
I am a bit behind on posts due to poor/no internet over the last few weeks. We left Tombstone, Arizona yesterday and have great internet here in Clifton, Arizona. More to follow!
