We spent the summer on Vancouver Island getting chores done and visiting our family and friends. We are now on the road heading south but wanted to share some of our pictures from our summer.
A few pictures from Saratoga Beach in August, near Campbell River.
Maddie hanging out with Spencer.

We took a day trip to Elk Falls just outside of Campbell River.

While we were in Duncan we went to the Forest Museum. Great memories…new and old.

Girls day out.

We spent a few days with my sister in Errington and did an off road trip with them through central Vancouver Island.
Oshinow Lake located in the most Southeastern end of Strathcona Provincial Park.

Yes, there was a toilet in the middle of the forest! Next picture is a view from the throne…
Ummm bear claw marks?
Love your pictures again! And missing Canada….
Sad to see summer go…my tan is disappearing quickly..and soon you’ll be back to a dry, warmer climate, sunsets and margarita’s! 😀
Hi All,
So good to hear from you, and admire all the beautiful photos from the summer on VI. I was at Elk Falls last weekend with Maggie and her friend Eileen. The air was so full of oxygen–so refreshing!
Looking forward to living life on the road with you vicariously through your awesome photography.
Love from MomTrudaOma
