We crossed the border at Regway, Saskatchewan. It was one of the smallest and friendliest we have been to so far. We were the only vehicle there and ten minutes later we were in the USA.
This was our view while we were driving through most of Montana. Maddie took this unique photo.
Once we crossed into Wyoming, the sun came out and so did the camera.

This is definitely one of my favourite places we have been to so far. Pictures do not do it justice. We had a lot of fun watching the prairie dogs near our campsite. Anytime we came to close to them they would scream and simultaneously throw up their hands. It was hilarious.
There are several different trails you can take around Devil’s Tower.
We took a 2km paved trail around the tower. When you first see the tower, you immediately start to wonder how on earth this tower came to be. After reading some of the educational signs, you learn that this is what remains of a volcano. The outer sediment has long since eroded away.
We spotted a lot of climbers on the tower.

Love that picture you took Maddie through the truck window! I’ve heard prairie dogs whistle, but never have seen them shriek and through up their “hands” ! quite the volcqno! xox
