While in Puerto Vallarta, we visited the malecon in old town. It is very touristy with lots of vendors trying to get you to buy from them. We prefer the pueblos, where you can buy the local wares directly from the artisan.



The art work never ceases to amaze me. Even the benches are colourful pieces of art. Love it!

It’s nice to see you all enjoying the balmy weather down there! Yesterday we had a huge cloud that resembled a mushroom cap–as if we were underneath a giant one–it produced really tiny hailstones. Quite cool! And then it snowed for a bit, hailed some more, and snowed again. An interesting day. We’re supposed to get more snow tomorrow evening…
