On our way through Nevada, we camped on BLM land located on the northern part of Lake Mead. We found this amazing spot that was covered in rock art!
Last year we visited the Valley of Fire State Park and loved it. We decided to go back and check out the areas we missed since we were so close.

These cabins were built in 1935 by the Civilian Conservation Corps to shelter campers and travellers visiting the park.
We found some Easter eggs that some kids missed.

We had a cute little visitor while eating our lunch.
There are so many petroglyphs here.

Hanging out in the shade for a bit.

Beautiful desert flowers.

Our friends put together a Easter egg hunt for Maddie. She had a great time searching the rock art for treasure. Thank you to our friends for creating some great memories!

All smiles!
