A local band on the beach probably heading to a wedding.
Our campsite by the beach. Perfect!
We had an oyster feast on the beach with our friends one night. The oysters were cooked until they opened then topped with spinach cooked in garlic, a bread mixture and parmesan. Delicious!
We went on a day trip to La Choya, near Puerto Penasco, and walked around the town. “La Case del Gringo Loco Tweety” house with turrets, staircases and a crazy steep driveway. Wow.
We never get tired of the sunsets here.
We were completely unaware that we were arriving in Puerto Penasco for bike week.
We had a great time checking out the bikes and activities in town.

We went out for dinner at the Friendly Dolphin restaurant for Bob’s birthday.

The restaurant was filled with historical pictures and antiques.

The walls were covered in pictures and artifacts everywhere you looked. It felt like a museum. Amazing.

A few days later we left for warmer weather in Mazatlan where we would spend Christmas with friends.
