We have had a busy few weeks in Mazatlan with a National Motocross Championship Race, Semana Santa (Easter holiday) and beach music festival in the RV Park.

When Semana Santa arrived, so did the people. Lots of families spending time on the beach for the holiday with colourful umbrellas and happy children.

A lot of our neighbours have headed back home already. From the pictures we have seen of the snow in Canada…maybe too early? We are still enjoying the beautiful weather, beach and sunsets for just a little bit longer.

The owner of the RV Park hosted a beach music festival over three days, which attracted a young crowd. Some of the music reminded Bob and I of our late teens with the techno music.
The line-up was:
Iron Deer (reggae band)
DJ FX
DJ ARÉVALO
DJ Solar
Xerpent aka This Confussion (main act)

Setting up the Tecate beer station…

We were given complimentary wrist bands for the festival so that we could get into the festival and have access to the beach.
Luckily we did our grocery shopping and chores prior to the event. Not sure we would be able to get out at this point!

Hey long time for sure! hehe..guess it’s a good thing that you went to Mexico later so that you can stay a little longer..brrrr..snowed on Easter!!!
