We have seen lots of amazing pictures of this canyon over the years but didn’t really know where it was exactly. A friend of ours mentioned it recently, so we looked into it further. We were going to be in the area and decided we must visit!
The canyon is located east of Page, Arizona on Navajo land. You cannot enter the canyon without a native Navajo guide, so we booked a tour.

I believe this is called “the bear”.

This is my favourite picture.

One of the native Navajo guides playing some traditional music.
There were many tours going through the canyon while we were there. It made it difficult to keep up with our group and hear what our guide was saying, especially when the pathway was narrow. Other than the congestion, it was well worth the tour. My pictures do not do the canyon justice. If interested, google pictures of Antelope Canyon. Some truly stunning photography!
We drove out to the iconic Horseshoe Bend which is located in Glen Canyon near Page, Arizona. Quite the view of the Colorado River!
It was a small hike from the parking lot to the viewpoint. Surprisingly there were no barriers or viewing platforms. You could literally sit on the edge of the canyon (not for anyone with a fear of heights!).

Wow and Wow! What an amazing tour! I love how you captured the light in the canyon. I keep scrolling through the pics! Can’t wait to see you all soon, Gwen
Very, very cool! Hayden approves! Can’t wait to see everyone!
