Mazatlan

We flew back to Calgary to spend Christmas with family this year. We had lots of great company and food. Bob and Maddie posing with Spencer. Spencer would love the beaches in Mexico! A couple days after we came back from our Christmas vacation, we drove to Mazatlan. The RV park was filling up, so … Continue reading Mazatlan

Lo De Marcos

We decided to leave Puerto Vallarta early and head to Lo De Marcos to stay at La Parota RV Park. Beautiful beach, friendly people and great food. There are only small local businesses here…no Walmart, Costco or Starbucks! The park is to the left of the blue fishing boats. This place is definitely tied for the … Continue reading Lo De Marcos

Puerto Vallarta 2

The last time we were in Nuevo Vallarta, we walked along the beach from our all inclusive resort to Bucerias. This time we drove from our RV park in Puerto Vallarta and walked around town. Lots of vendors, art and statues! We call this vendor alley. You cannot browse here without the vendors trying to get … Continue reading Puerto Vallarta 2

Puerto Vallarta

Ajijic

People are drawn to the year round temperate climate and the cost of living. For instance: we went out for dinner at a little Brazilian restaurant … Continue reading Ajijic

Jocotepec

We took a day trip with friends and visited Jocotepec Malecon Park. Artwork everywhere! Unfortunately, Lake Chapala is not for swimming and we didn’t want to wade through the plants to go out on our paddle board. Even though it was a very grey day out, it was still stunningly beautiful. Lots of gorgeous birds everywhere. I … Continue reading Jocotepec

Lake Chapala, Mexico

We stayed at Roca Azul RV Park in Jocotepec, by Lake Chapala, after a long 9 hour drive. The park had lots to offer with a restaurant, walking paths, lighthouse, thermal pool, playground, yurts, showers, eucalyptus spa, soccer field, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. Unfortunately it rained almost the entire week while we were there and couldn’t enjoy the … Continue reading Lake Chapala, Mexico
