We heard there were a lot of dolphins in San Carlos but we thought it was just an exaggeration. Nope… there are a lot of dolphins here. On our first day we went out for lunch and as we were admiring the view we saw dolphins. During our week long stay in San Carlos, we saw dolphins in the bay almost every time we looked.
By the time we inflated the SUP, the dolphins were gone and didn’t want to play with Bob.

We went to a dolphinarium but there weren’t any dolphins. There were two sea lions that had the entire audience entertained and laughing. Unfortunately, we weren’t allowed to take any pictures. Here we are waiting for the show to start.
It took a lot of tiles to make this beautiful mosaic.
Some large whale bones at the dolphinarium.
We had heard about this great spot from a number of people. Beautiful beach and it was so quiet. Last minute picture before we left.
We met up with some friends and stayed at Totonaka RV park.
I wish I had taken more pictures in San Carlos. Too busy enjoying our time with our friends. Loved this small town!
We left San Carlos February 10th and headed to Alamos.
Looks gorgeous (as always)!

That mosaic of the dolphins must have taken many, many hours to complete. So beautiful!
We had a sunny day yesterday, and live today thinking about it, because it is going to be rainy today and tomorrow and then some sun on Saturday. I’ll look at your sun-filled photos and think warmth! :))
Any Karaoke yet? 😀 Enjoying the ‘dry and warm’ looking photos quite a bit. Bob needs to paddle faster on the SUP! hehe..made me think about our local Dolphins that like to race the ferries once in awhile..Neat place to be, for sure.
Karaoke? Not a chance…we’ll leave that to the professionals!
