We were always interested in exploring Cuba’s beaches and culture. So, we took a trip to Cuba this year for Bob’s birthday.

Immediately we acquainted ourselves with the beach at our resort. It did not disappoint!

As we were crossing a bridge on our morning walk, a dolphin checked us out.

Taxis were pretty awesome! Not too many pictures after or during ride as my hair was everywhere haha.

We took the bus to Varadero for Bob’s birthday dinner. Another beautiful beach and the food was really good.

We had heard about a bat cave near to the resort, so we went and explored some more. I am glad we went!

We took a bus to Havana and stayed in a BnB for a few days to explore the city.

Church of San Francisco de Paula

We took a local ferry to get over to see the Morro Castle, Che Guevara Museum and Jesus of course.

On the last day in Havana, we found a neat restaurant. Such a great idea to use records for place mats and coasters.

Back in Varadero we resumed our relaxing for a few more days before heading back to Canada.

Love it!
