As we were driving south from Valencia, we planned on stopping at a canyon with a river, waterfall and pools. It was well worth the visit. We went for a swim and watched the local teenagers jumping off the cliffs.
We were going to stay at a campground in Bocairent, located in the Sierra Mariola Mountains. The campground was full for the night but the owner told us about a medieval market happening in town. He also mentioned that there was a free place to park and stay the night. Glad we stayed, it was so much fun. What an incredible place.
We did a lot of walking through an ancient labyrinth of narrow and steep paths.
